Fathers Grieving Together provides private support for fathers who have experienced the loss of a child.
Sessions may draw on Carl’s professional experience, Emotion Pathway® and, where appropriate, techniques from The Manse Method®.
The service is not an emergency or crisis service.
It is not intended to replace medical, psychiatric or other specialist care where that care is required.
No particular outcome can be guaranteed.

Online
Sessions are delivered by video call unless otherwise agreed.
The video platform may be Cal Video or another service agreed with you.
4. Booking
Bookings are made through our online booking provider.
A booking is only confirmed once the booking process has been completed and, where applicable, payment has been successfully received.
You are responsible for providing a correct email address and checking the appointment details sent to you.
5. Payment
Payment is normally required at the time of booking.
Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider such as Stripe.
We do not store your full card details.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
Our cancellation and refund arrangements are explained in the separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Those arrangements form part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in our cancellation policy removes any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have under UK consumer law.
7. Online consumer cancellation rights
Where you book a service online, you may have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For many service contracts, the statutory cancellation period is 14 days from the day after the contract is entered into.
If you specifically request that a service begins during that cancellation period, different rules may apply.
Further details are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate booking information
- attend the session at the agreed time
- use a suitable private environment where reasonably possible
- ensure you have a functioning internet connection and compatible device
- treat Carl and anyone involved in administering the service respectfully
9. Late arrival
If you arrive late, the session may still need to end at the originally scheduled time.
We cannot guarantee that lost time can be added to the end of the session.
10. Technical problems
We will take reasonable steps to deliver the session as scheduled.
If significant technical problems on our side prevent the session taking place, we will normally offer an alternative appointment or appropriate refund.
If technical problems arise on your side, we will try to assist reasonably, but we cannot guarantee additional session time.
11. Suitability and safety
Fathers Grieving Together is not suitable for emergency support.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or attend A&E.
Samaritans can be contacted free, 24 hours a day, on 116 123.
We may recommend that you seek other or additional professional support where we believe this would be more appropriate.
We also reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service where it is not appropriate or safe to continue.
12. Confidentiality
We treat information shared during sessions with respect and discretion.
Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious and immediate concern about safety or safeguarding.
Further information about personal data is contained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual property
Fathers Grieving Together website content, Emotion Pathway®, The Manse Method® and associated materials may be protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights.
Booking a session does not give you permission to reproduce, teach, distribute, record, publish or commercially exploit any protected materials.
14. Recording
Sessions must not be recorded by either party without prior agreement.
15. Liability
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
16. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control.
If this affects a booked session, we will take reasonable steps to rearrange it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live.
